Hi, I'm Shelby

I have 8 years of generative and evaluative UX research experience with PhD-level mixed methods research training. I've led 24 teams of junior and senior professionals to successfully complete 34 research projects to inform 11 clinical, educational, and research products, including digital technology.

My social sciences PhD and content area expertise in holistic well-being, trauma, and systems of oppression (e.g., racism, queerphobia, sexism) make me a fabulous human-centered user advocate. I center my work around empathy, self-compassion, and trauma-informed and inclusive research practice and design.
